Anura is situated between Paarl and Stellenbosch in the foothills of the Simonsberg mountain range. Anura has been in the Bouma family since 1990 and with their passion for perfection, Anura produces award winning wines.

Anura Vineyards has 120 hectares under vineyards with predomintely noble red varieties. The farms total production is on average 800 tons of fruit to make top class wines. Our passion is red wine, specifically Shiraz, but plantings of Mourvedré, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese and Malbec are all ways we want to create hand crafted wines for the person who is looking for a unique experience when drinking wine.

Anura wines are now distributed and enjoyed in over 10 countries, and have won numerous awards over the past 5 years. Namely the Anura Syrah/Mourvedre 2003 Reserve achieved SAA's Best Red of 2006 and our very special Anura Chenin, 2005 Fairbairn Trophy winner for Best Chenin Blanc. Not forgetting that our first vintage 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon and our Merlot Reserve 2004 and Chardonnay 2004, that have won a double gold award at the Veritas Wine Awards.
